Telma is the first and so far the only female in the leadership team of Angola LNG, the first company exploring and producing GAS in Angola.

Born in the South of Angola, in the littoral city called Benguela in 1971, where Telma grew up and acquired most of her education, developing an interest for business management from a very young age, influenced by her family.

In 1996, Telma graduated on Business Science and Management, at Salford University in UK.

With a Master Degree on Accounting and Finance and several certificates and attendance on professional courses on the fields of Management, Leadership and Strategy, Telma’s professional potential was widely considered whilst working for the Angolan National Oil company – Sonangol, where at the age of 25 she was trusted the strategic leadership of the restructure of downstream in preparation for the downstream market liberalization, which the main activity consisted on the assessment of Angolan market demand and supply the oil derivate products and human capital with leadership potential.

At Sonangol, Telma’s contribution also entailed, the Angolan oil industry cost control and fiscal Interpretation of production sharing contract.

Telma worked for SINOPEC in Angola, as Senior Finance Advisor, as independent consultant of Strategic Management, which lead to the development of several services for different sectors, giving her a widely valuable knowledge of Angolan´s business environment.

For 4 years Telma worked as Planning Manager, during the final phase of the project of Angola LNG, since the operation phase Telma is occupying the Executive Manager’s position.

Her foundations, along great motivational and leadership skills, pioneered the development of human capital within all sectors in which she actively works in Angola.
